We recommend starting piano lessons at the age of 4 or older, but we also offer lessons for younger children if they show an interest and ability to focus for 20-minute sessions.

Rigorous training marked her formative years, which propelled her to win her first international piano competition in France at just 11.

Numerous accolades marked her journey, including invitations to prestigious academies and winning international music competitions performing on harpsichord during the pandemic. Yet despite her impressive accomplishments, Pinkosz remained a committed music student, continually seeking to expand her knowledge and refine her skills. Her triple Master of Arts degrees from three distinguished universities and acceptance into the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Early Music Department are hallmarks of her lifelong learning discipline.
This discipline has paid off as Margarita Pinkosz is a performer and a creative pedagogue teaching music to various skill levels. Her extensive experience and pedagogical philosophy shaped her signature teaching methods, making her a unique mentor for aspiring musicians. As a thought leader and influencer, Pinkosz addresses the technical aspects of music education and the emotional and psychological support necessary for artists. Studio Policy
About Your Tuition
- Your tuition has a flat rate and covers 4 monthly lessons.
- We host at least 2 performance opportunities per year. Dates and locations will be announced. There may be a minimal fee for the venue.
Attendance & Absences
- When you enroll in lessons, you are paying to secure a specific time, on a specific day with your teacher. This is the time that you are paying for, and this time is reserved for you.
- Make-up lessons that are missed are considered forfeited.
- If you need to make a permanent schedule change after you’ve already started lessons, please notify us at least 2 weeks in advance.
Payments, Due Date, and Cancellations
- Tuition is due on the last lesson of the month before the new month begins. Late fee for paying after the 1st of the month will be added. If someone pays on the 4th, then they owe a $4 late fee (the late fee corresponds to the date).
- There are 4 options:
- Zelle
- Venmo
- Paypal
- Cash
- Cancellations to discontinue lessons require a 30-day written notice.
Performances
- There are at least 2 studio organized performances per year held at an outside location to provide students with a different venue in which to share their talents. These are fun, informal events that expose students to different ways in which piano-playing skills can be enjoyed.
- Group classes also give students the opportunity to play for others, increasing their comfort and confidence levels, as well as providing a social setting in which to share music.

Typical lesson starts with warm-ups, some sight reading, learning songs, duets, and we end by improvisation by student and teacher. Developing creativity and imagination is a foundation of my lessons. I use multiple teaching methods such as Suzuki, ABRSM testing exams and jazz harmony learning.
